Cheese and Wine Evening

The
cheese and wine evening is an 'in' event held in Shaftesbury Lodge.
Platters of various cheeses and crackers from around the world are
prepared and displayed for everyone to sample along with a range of
different red and white wines. There are non-alcoholic options
available for those not drinking.
Entertainment is provided in the form of games and quizzes aimed at
naming cheeses and the countries that they come from, advanced wine
tasters can have a go at spotting the origin of the wines. There are
prizes for those with the most cultured taste buds who are able to
answer most questions correctly.
At least when the evening's over and everyone's had their fill of cheese and wine, nobody has to drive home.
