New Year and Recruitment.
Everyone's
now back to the grindstone after a busy Christmas period. Trips to the
pantomime at the Hackney Empire and a slap up Christmas dinner were a
resounding success. Before the students left for some deserved time off
over Christmas, a Carols by candlelight event was held at Shaftesbury,
both students and residents sang with gusto to get everyone in the mood
for some festive cheer. Photos are to follow in the Events section.
Posters will be going up in the next week or so to advertise for new
Griffin residents to join us in 2008/9. Prospective students keep your
eyes peeled and download an application form from the Participate
section.

Updated History and Testimonials.
Some
major updates to tell you about on the Griffin website. Former Griffin
resident Catherine Eades has completed her account of Griffin's history
filling in the time since the last record in 1998. It has details of
changes in personnel, buildings, and events. It also includes stories
and testimonials from other former residents Ben Underwood and Helen
Colver. Go to the 'History' section to read Catherine's up to date
history, and the 'People' section to read the testimonials in full.
